Easy Summer Smoothies

Do you ever wonder if your kids are getting the right vitamins and nutrients on a daily basis? Is it difficult to sometimes get your kids eating healthy fruits and vegetables as often as you’d like? We are here to help show you how to get your kids to DRINK their fruits and vegetables. See our easy summer smoothie recipes below!

4 Ingredient Easy Summer Smoothies

Age: 12 months +
Serving Options: Smoothie, Smoothie Bowl, Family Friendly

  • 1 cup organic baby spinach
  • 1 cup organic strawberries
  • 1 cup cantaloupe
  • 1 cup organic cucumber
  • 1/2 cup filtered water (more if needed)

First, add all the ingredients to the blender. Liquefy until it’s a drink! Next, taste and check for consistency. If too thick, add a little more water and puree. If more sweetness is desired, add more cantaloupe or strawberries. Serve in a fun cup or in a bowl with a spoon for a “smoothie bowl”. Enjoy!

5 Ingredient Easy Summer Smoothies

  • 1 cup organic cucumber
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup filtered water (more if needed)

First, add all the ingredients to the blender. Liquefy until it’s a drink! Next, taste and check for consistency. This smoothie tends to be thicker due to the banana and avocado. If too thick, add a little more water and puree. If more sweetness is desired, add more banana or strawberries. Serve in a fun cup or in a bowl with a spoon for a “smoothie bowl”. Enjoy!

If you often have trouble getting your kids to try new foods, have them make the entire smoothie with you. Let them hold the ingredients and add them to the blender. Getting them involved helps take the mysteriousness out of the new “mystery food”.
